Cookies Policy

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone while you are visiting various Internet websites. A cookie file usually contains name of the website it comes from, its lifespan, and randomly generated unique number used for identifying the browser from which the connection with the website occurs.

1. Cookies Policy

In connection to rendering the content of website, we use cookies, i.e. pieces of information, stored on user’s end device by servers, that could be read by servers at any entry to the website; may also use other technologies with functions similar to or identical with cookies. In the following document, information about cookies also applies to other similar technologies used by our websites. Cookie files consist of IT data, in particular text files which are stored at an end device of user. Cookies usually contain name of the website they come from, their lifespan and randomly generated unique number.

  •  safety cookies, for example, used for detecting authentication abuse within the website,
  • cookies that allow to compile information on ways of using our websites
  • "functional” cookies that allow our website to remember the choices of user’s settings and personalization of their interface, e.g. in terms of preferred language or region the user comes from, font size, look of the website, etc.
  • advertising cookies that allow to provide users with targeted content and advertising.

These settings might be changed in such a way as to block the automatic cookies in the Internet browser’s settings or inform on any inclusion of the cookies files on the user’s end device. Failing to change cookies settings means that cookies files will be placed in the user’s end device, thus enabling to store information on the user’s end device and gain access to such information.

5. Disabling cookies might cause problems with using some services on our website, in particular, the ones that require logging. Blocking cookies still allows the user to use MalomiKids and peruse its contents, except from the ones that require logging.

6. Cookies files might be stored at the end device of user, and subsequently used by affiliate advertisers, research companies, and media application’s providers.
